Her father, Conrad Jones, ran a major international Management Consultation in the heart of Manhattan. As a child, she was trained in the arts and music, and was a gymnast. During High School, she attended college preparatory boarding school (1971-74), and was trained in classical modern dance, while in her first modern dance company for two years (Olga Dunne). She continued her dance training at the Institute of Contemporary Dance there, while studying art at the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston. Then, studied Astrophysics at Columbia University in NYC, and Environmental Sciences at SUNY New Paltz. Allison has traveled across the Indian Peninsula, North America, Central America, and Europe. She lived with Mayan indians in 1977 for 6 months, became fluent in Spanish, and then, a High School teacher in Costa Rica (1977). Since then, she has been studying languages and their names for decades, collecting data for her exotic baby name books. During a period of 15 years, she studied more than 50 languages for the names book, taking tutorials with more than 70 scholars from around the world, all whom were native speakers of the language being studied. She says, "The great joy received from learning about all the wonderful cultures around the world is the best feeling in the world. Every teacher expressed such great pride and hope for their lands everywhere! And, counter-balances the great sadness that comes from studying the vaccination debacle. Ever since her son became paralyzed (temporarily) by his first DPT at age four (1984), her insatiable 165 IQ has been studying what happened on a microscopic level for 25 years now. Taught since childhood, by her brother of 12 years, Dr Ron Jones, who had a double ph.D in neurophysiology and toxicology, and did research and worked in labs (cancer cells, testing toxics), he explained his studies in visually fascinating and comical descriptions, that Allison utilizes for her lectures.
