She was trained in human physiology, cancer, and the medical world as a child by her older brother (12 yrs older) Dr Ron Jones, who had a PHD in Toxicology. Allison has an innate ability to visualize the world she was taught to understand inside the human body at the microscopic level. She went to college preparatory boarding schools and was trained to do research. Then, she attended Columbia University in 1978 and studied astro-physics, but switched to the medical field in 1984 when her son was paralyzed for 3 days by his first shot, the DPT. Allison Jones translates textbook science for regular people, just as her brother taught her to understand, over his career working in labs studying cancer or testing food additives for toxins for General Mills too.
